I really loved working with this young lady; She was super laid back, not fussy or overly concerned with her appearance (though she's a natural beauty.) My point is, almost immediately I could understand why she waited until weeks before she was due to graduate to even think about having her senior photos taken. I just think she has bigger things to consider - like political science, for example; which she will be studying at Grinnell college in the fall.
She brought her viola to the session, and played a few notes for me in the sunset. It was a gorgeous night. Not too warm.
I'm one of those people who almost always sees a celebrity in someone. I saw something familiar in Katrina, but I couldn't put a name or a face with it at the time. I even told her mom, "She looks like someone famous to me... Like an actress from the 80's. I just can't think of who it is right now."
When I was editing it came to me. Her eyes are DEAD RINGERS for Andie McDowell's.
Am I right?!
