Last weekend I drove up to NE Minneapolis to meet Macy, who was just nine days old. I really love lifestyle sessions. There's something so special about photographing people in their own spaces, with their own things. Don't get me wrong; Posed sessions are always a fun challenge in their own right! Sometimes the alternative challenge of finding great window light and intimate spaces in a foreign territory can be really inspiring. Also, for whatever reason, even brand new babies just already seem to know where "home" is.
