Last night I had such a fun time working with Natalie; an upcoming senior at Lakeville South High-school. In the midst of a few weeks of several rained out sessions, I/WE sure had some lovely weather. It was such a gorgeous night; It wasn't too hot and we had a really beautiful sunset.
Natalie's parents have a cabin up north near my college best friend's cabin. I'd met them before, so I already knew I was really going to enjoy photographing her. We decided we needed to find a lake for her to wade around in, since she spends a lot of time around one. (If I HAD to choose, those are my favorite shots of the night.)
Natalie is so good-natured and a natural model. She was slapping mosquitoes and climbing around in the middle of murky tall grasses in bare feet with a smile on her face the entire time. She even indulged me after I saw another photo opportunity by the parking lot as we were saying our goodbyes.
